Search behavior update
We’ve updated search to be keyword-based and more predictable for how people actually use it.
Why we changed itAfter reviewing support tickets and real user searches, we found most searches were for specific items using exact text like IDs, codes, and short terms (for example HSM, 123, T00756, H-13). The older text-oriented search (stemming, language processing, operators) sometimes got in the way and made simple lookups feel unreliable.
What changed• Search no longer uses text-oriented processing (like stemming).
• We no longer index the full text inside Documents. Document search now matches on document metadata (for example name/description), not the document body.
• Advanced operators are no longer supported. For example: +A (must include) and -B (must exclude) are no longer available.
